Project: Heating pump // Country: Uganda // City: Kampala // Date: 2009

Coolsupport have made together with v. Zaal Heating a 1.600 kW heat pump installation to heat 5 HA of flowers at night at 17°C to 22°C. This very innovative and high efficiency system is the first big heat pump system in Africa. The system is working with 4 Trane screw compressors. This system saves around  € 120,- energy a day comparing all other systems!! The whole system was prefabricated in 3 containers and tested in Holland so the installing time on spot was very short and we avoid nasty surprises on the spot.
